It has formed a sustainable core competitiveness and blazed a broad path of high-level self-reliance and self-strengthening in science and technology and domestic upgrading.

At the beginning of the 21st century, in the face of the "three low" reality of low-end products, poor craftsmanship and inefficient production in the domestic rope and net manufacturing industry, Ropenet, one of the many small factories in China, resolutely established the development vision of "revitalizing the national industry", benchmarked against international rope and net multinational enterprises, and started from four aspects: technology, talent, channels and funds, to deeply cultivate the conventional rope and cable field Constantly improve the production process and inspection standards of rope nets as well as the level of scientific research and development. Relying on lean product quality and service quality, achieve a leap from the mid-to-low end of Chinese rope net products.

During its development, Ropenet has taken the lead in participating in the formulation of 2 international standards, 15 national standards and 39 industry standards, truly making its own contribution to the standardization and normalization of rope and net production, as well as the improvement of the overall production process level and product quality of China's rope and net manufacturing industry.

In 2017, high-performance products were monopolized by foreign rope and net giants, and many important fields faced the awkward situation of "no ropes available". Ropenet focuses on "technology ocean, industrial hoisting, and emergency security" as its main research directions. It has introduced experts from renowned research institutes and formed a research and development team. By applying and innovating new materials, new technologies, and new processes, it has successfully broken through foreign enterprises in multiple fields, achieving breakthroughs in core technologies of rope and net products, and truly using advanced functional rope and net products globally.

Emergency security-related products have passed LA certification, international CE certification and GS certification. Products related to the technology and Marine field have passed CCS, ABS, LR and NK certifications with high scores. Some product indicators have reached or even surpassed those of international products. During the research and development process, over 80 invention patents were declared, and in 2018, it was awarded the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and other honorary titles.

In 2024, China proposed a new strategy for the development of high-quality productive forces. Ropenet actively responds to the national call, further integrates scientific and technological innovation resources, continuously promotes the upgrading of the rope and net industry, takes informatization, greenization and automation as key points, strengthens the foundation of the industry-university-research-application model, and combines cutting-edge technology and disruptive technology to research and produce advanced functional flexible equipment that meets future needs, promoting the development of new quality productivity in the rope and net industry.
